That curiosity led me to discover Arab/MENA Heritage Month, a moment that sparked a deeper reflection on visibility, representation, and the stories we uplift. This piece highlights local women owned businesses in the Lehigh Valley led by those of Middle Eastern and North African heritage, each contributing to a more inclusive, connected, and well community.

We hosted our first private holiday event at The Marquis for City Center Residential, bringing residents together for an evening of creativity, connection, and mindful gifting. Guests explored a curated marketplace of home decor, self-care, and wellness brands, created personalized gift wraps including learning furoshiki techniques, and enjoyed festive treats from Peretzel Treats. The event celebrated intentional giving, community, and holiday cheer. We are now booking private events for 2026.

We’re continuing our series, Voices of Immigrants, to honor and uplift the stories of those whose journeys shape our communities—especially at a time when the immigrant narrative in America is overshadowed by fear and division. Today, we share the voice of Javiera Varas, a Chilean-born creative and entrepreneur who built a life rooted in culture, creativity, and love for storytelling. Her journey from Santiago to New York reflects resilience, motherhood, and the deep beauty of holding on to heritage while embracing new beginnings.
