One Year with The Mom Market: A Celebration of Community, Growth, and What's Next
This past month, we returned to The Mom Market for what turned out to be one of the most meaningful events we've experienced yet.
While every market holds its own magic, this one felt especially significant because it marked a full year of vending with The Mom Market. As I stood among familiar faces, welcomed returning visitors, and watched women connect throughout the day, I found myself reflecting on where this journey began.
A year ago, Jentle Land Mark was still finding its footing. Like many small businesses, we were navigating uncertainty, learning as we went, and trusting that community would lead the way forward. The Mom Market became a space where we truly felt that vision come to life.
Over the past year, we've watched not only our own business evolve, but so many others as well. What continues to inspire me most is the growing community of female entrepreneurs throughout the Lehigh Valley. Women are creating businesses rooted in purpose, supporting one another's dreams, and proving that collaboration is far more powerful than competition.
This market was made even more special when several longtime vendors were recognized for participating throughout the year. Alongside incredible women like Karla of Ll’amour Events, Arielle of Writing the Way Home, and Taisha of Earthshine Holistics, we were honored to be celebrated for reaching this milestone.
Organizer Devika surprised us with beautiful notebooks and handwritten notes. In a world that often moves quickly, taking the time to recognize someone's journey through thoughtful words is a gift. It's a memory I'll cherish.
Moments like these remind us that community isn't built overnight. It's created through consistent support, shared experiences, and showing up for one another again and again.
A New Chapter for Jentle Land mark
As meaningful as celebrating one year with The Mom Market was, this event also marked another exciting milestone.
For the first time publicly, we shared that Jentle Land Mark is opening a physical location in Downtown Allentown.
The response was overwhelming in the best possible way.
Over the past several years, our mission has remained simple: create spaces where women feel seen, supported, and inspired to grow. Until now, that has largely happened through our marketplace, events, gatherings, our podcast, and community collaborations.
Soon, we'll have a permanent home where those connections can continue to flourish every day.
What Will the New Space Look Like?
At its heart, our new Downtown Allentown location will be built around four pillars:

Supporting physical well-being through mindful movement, wellness experiences, and opportunities to reconnect with our bodies.

Creating space for creativity, self-expression, and hands-on experiences that inspire us to explore new possibilities.

Offering workshops, discussions, and educational experiences that help us grow personally and professionally.

Cultivating meaningful relationships and authentic community through shared experiences and conversation.
During the day, the space will function as a collaborative café-style environment featuring beverage service and rotating women-owned business pop-ups. Visitors can discover local retail products, creative offerings, and life-enriching services while enjoying a welcoming space to work, gather, and connect.
In the mornings, evenings, and on weekends, the space will transform into a hub for intimate gatherings centered around our four pillars. From workshops and wellness experiences to community conversations and creative sessions, our hope is to create opportunities for women to elevate their lives together.
More than anything, we want this space to feel like an extension of the community that has already been forming throughout the Lehigh Valley.
The Power of Community
When people ask what Jentle Land Mark is building, the answer is simple: community.
The Mom Market has been a beautiful reminder that when women gather with intention, incredible things happen. Ideas become businesses. Strangers become friends. Support turns into opportunity.
One year ago, we arrived at our first market hoping to connect with others. Today, we're preparing to open a physical space because of the relationships, encouragement, and belief that this community has offered along the way.
